Massive
and deep, those are two words that come to mind when viewing
Sweeter Than Ever. When Sweeter Than Ever gets on the move,
she is even better. As a heifer she showed, 3rd Overall B&O
at the 2003 National Junior Simmental Show, Supreme Heifer
Winona County Fair, and Reserve Simmental MN Beef Expo. The
next year she came back as a Cow/Calf and was Reserve Champion
Simmental at the MN State Fair.
Her four calves last year:1st and 3rd high selling bulls Value based genetics sale sold to Springer Simmentals IA and Nichols Farms IA, third flushmate is being used as a herdsire in our herd and Rossman Cattle Co MN. Natural Heifer calf was Supreme Heifer MN State 4-H.
Everysingle bull calf has gone to a purebred herd over several hundred head.
Sweeter
Than Ever's dam is still producing at 11 years and shows no
sign of slowing down.

Beyonce was the most successful heifer that we have ever shown.
She was consistently the soundest heifer out. Beyonce is known
not only for her structure, but for her smoothness and muscling
pattern.
She
was the Champion Bred & Owned at the 2004 North Central
Regional Simmental Classic, the largest Junior show of the
year, and then she captured Reserve Champion Heifer. Later
that summer, she was Champion Simmental Heifer at the MN State
4-H show and went on to be Reserve Supreme.
As
a cow, Beyonce is even better. She is as sound as a cat, and
maintains her condition extremely well. She is the dam of Make It Rain, maybe the best bull we have ever raised. She is also the dam of our Denver Consignment Be Sassy.

Kylie
is one of our lead donors. She is the dam of our herd bull,
Zeus.
Her
first calf, Smurf, was extremely massive and thick. He currently
resides at Haley's in Waseka. Smurf as well as Zeus are
calving ease sires. Smurf has been calved to heifers, and
not a single pull yet! Kylie transmits depth and style to
her calves in a sound package. You can't forget growth,
Kylie has weaned a 860 lbs. calf and a 1050lbs. calf, at
7.5 months!
Kylie
has also shown extremely well. She was 3rd Overall Heifer
at the 2002 NCRC, and went on to beat the Champion at the
NCRC, later that summer, at the MN State Fair 4-H show,
where Kylie claimed Champion Simmental Heifer. Kylie came
back the next year, and had Champion Simmental Cow/Calf
and Reserve Supreme Cow/Calf.
She
has flushed extremely well - 35 embryos on two flushes.
Watch for her and her progeny this coming year.
